Nicotiana, there are about 70 species worldwide. Nicotiana benthamiana and Nicotiana tobacco are important model plants. Nicotiana tobacco is widely cultivated and is a worldwide cash crop. Nicotiana Multiomics Database (NMOD) collects the reference genome, transcriptome expression analysis, genomic variations, and germplasm, and links data analysis tools to assist Nicotiana in better exploration of genetic resources and breeding research.
